1) It's that time of the year: competitions! This is your chance to show FBLA, your school, and yourself what you are capable of achieving. If you haven't done so, start deciding what you will be going to be competing in. (It would be great if you chose something that you were good at!) Competition sign ups will be open on December 14th. First come first serve. Last but not least, STUDY! There are tons of resources that you can use to study. Try
http://fbla.testfrenzy.com/ 2) IMPORTANT: Workshop money is due Tuesday, December 8th. There will be no extensions. Remember, to compete in district and on you must attend our workshop. Turn in the workshop form along with $10 dollars as soon as you can if you haven't done so. Our workshop will be held on December 13th from 2-4 PM at Fun Plex.
3) T-shirt designs are posted on echalk! If you are going to order one please go visit echalk and choose your shirt size so we can get a head count of whos ordering. Prices will range from $12-15 at most. December 16th is the cutoff date for shirt ordering.
4) Rockets night out is coming up! Get out, have some fun, and enjoy the Rockets play the Nicks! Tickets will be $25 dollars (discounted from original price of $40). The game will be on January 9th (Saturday).
5) VBC: It is not too late to register for VBC. If you still want to make a team, register at knowledgematters.com and send Ms. Curry an email to approve your team.
6) Santa pictures are going to be December 15th! Santa will be there too of course. Pictures will be offered in packages. (Coming soon)

-T-Shirt Designs are being completed at this time, during our next general meeting, please be sure to order your t-shirt for the year!
-For all members who are attending the Workshop at Funplex on December 13, 2009, all forms and $10 are due by Friday, December 4, 2009. *All members must turn in their signed forms and $10 in order to attend.
-Area V District Conference and Competition will be hosted by us this year at Elsik High School. Members, if you have any questions regarding competitions and which ones you should choose, please feel free to contact any officers or upperclassmen members who have competed before.
-Area V District Conference & Competition is on Saturday, January 30, 2010.

-Membership form and fee of $15.00 are both due by Friday October 2, 2009.

-Check out the calendar located outside the Business Center for dates and upcoming events!
-Don't forget to sign up for the school store in the mornings and during lunch on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays!
-Participate and be involved with our upcoming fundrasier beginning Monday, October 5th, 2009!
